I’ve always been rebellious; a warrior.

Maybe it started when I entered this world feet first. Or when I tried walking despite the hip deformity I was born with. It didn’t stop me; I’d just drag myself everywhere (fortunately the surgery was a success, it could’ve gotten even weirder without it).

I write every day. I’ve been writing songs for a very long time; my first real song when I was 9. After years of studying songwriting (I still consider myself a student), honing the craft, suffering through a self-imposed writer’s block for over a year, hundreds of drained pens, and hundreds of thousands of words,……

I really didn’t want a puppy. I wasn’t ready yet. It had been two months since we lost Rayven and just the thought of training and teething and chewing was more unappealing than I could imagine.

The compromise: we’d find a rescue Doberman a few years old.

We applied again and again and were turned down, which……

I’ve been writing since I was able to form words. I was taught to put pen to paper, using actual words at four years old and haven’t looked back.

I never knew it would save my life.

In honor of The Kiss Front Man’s Birthday, I’d like to say a few words.

When Peter Criss, Kiss’ original drummer left the band, I was devastated.  The Cat man was my favorite. He had this raspy singing voice, and of course, Beth was the ultimate love song.
