I love it! It’s all about perspective, but Jon’s comment about it needing a video has gotten the creative gears grinding in my mind…good news for the girls…not likely I’m going to have half naked women in one of my videos. I’ll save that for the rappers. But, I do know some “Rappers” that may be game for some footage of jumping out of helicopters and training shirtless, Ladies, you’re going to love this. Stay tuned.
I guess this would be my opening to rant a little bit. Most videos lately, suck. Same old same old crapola. It’s so predictable…I would like to see a video made for women. I guess I’m going to have to do that. Really. I’m tired of looking at chicks doing the air bump and grind (yes, I’m old fashioned I guess, sigh), but…ick. And guys grabbing their privates. Yes, I’m sure they’re still there dude, or maybe you shoulda checked before you started filming… Christ! Videos used to be so awesome; they used to tell a story about the song, or at least entertain you, but now they are so blech, one exactly like the other.
The dudes that do the Metallica videos; I think he does the Def Leppard Videos, too, has some imagination. Two of my favourites are Until It Sleeps, and I Disappear (partly because of the landscapes, all that amazing redrock). Both are exciting and every time you watch them you see something new. It’s entertainment, not boredom. Actually Pink usually has good videos. Except for the one where she’s doing herself…
