Week 3 Blog Challenge and why I don’t watch MuchMusic

Week 3 was pretty easy…I had read this chapter long ago and had worked on the things on my website that needed fixing…I realize that being an independent artist nowadays means doing much yourself, including websites….I really get frustrated with social networking sites though. I am not a computer geek, and it seems like once I finally get things figured out, like how to update things, or send notes or whatever, the sites change and I have to learn it all over again…I know it’s vital, but screwing around to figure it out wastes so much time. My main website is black with purple text. Myspace, as you can see is black with pink, I figured the purple was a touch too difficult to read. I tried to change it to purple just to make sure again, but couldn’t figure out how to do it, and the help people didn’t help me at all, so I just said screw it…I’ll watch Much (Canada’s version of MTV) instead and maybe get some inspiration, cause they were finally playing videos. That pissed me off more…rappers who are singing (very badly) instead of rapping, boring songs, generic videos, and men grabbing their crotches, and…jesus, doesn’t Rihanna own anything other than lingerie (although I did dig the song)…I’m going to go play my guitar. Really, this is why I don’t watch much music. It really sucks…no wonder they rarely play videos.
